I've ordered a Tecsun H501X as a birthday present. I see that it can charge 2 18650 batteries, but I would prefer a good dedicated charger. Anyone know of such a unit, preferably found on Amazon?

Thanks in advance...Mike

I use and recommend the Opus C3400. In addition to charging, it tests the batteries.
I've had great success with the Opus C3400 as well.

The Nitecore i2 still (been more than a little while) has the comical copypasta error of being a two battery device, and the text states "each of the four" - clearly someone in marketing made a boo-boo. Probably fat-fingered from another device text.

Not to derail this thread but people interested in the newer Tecsun DSP shortwave receivers should be aware that the Tecsun H501/501X and the PL-990/990X both have a hard limit of 100 memory channels for storing shortwave SSB frequencies. I think the PL-330 does as well.

For utility listeners this can be a deal breaker. I also note that no reviews even mention this limitation.

Note also that the previous Tecsun models (PL-880, PL-680, PL-660, PL-600) have no such limitation.

Just to get back on topic - I use an AccuPower independent four cell charger for my batteries (AA and 18650 mainly). Works great.
