here is my problem i have 1 computer and want to run 2 feeds at once.

Windows XP will only let me select 1 input at once.

i want to use the line for feed 1 and mic input for feed 2.

anyone know a way to do this?

i have a second sound card that i can install, if need be.

any suggestions appreciated!

From my understanding, you would need to submit 2 feed requests. Once Accepted, you would then download the program (broadcaster) twice. Once for each feed. Then select which input you will be using for that feed. You would have 2 broadcasters running at once providing audio for each feed. I presume thats how it works.

i have been accepted for both feeds 1 is running now...

the problem seems to be that windows will not let me select more than 1 input for the 2 feed. i can only select mic input or line in not both.

Oh, I gotcha now. I guess you might have to use that 2nd sound card. There is no way to select multiple inputs for Windows XP that i'm aware of.

You can't run 2 feeds on one sound card, the mic input and line in both go to the same place. The mic input is amplified before going to the computer.

Splitting the line-in input with a stereo Y cable, you should be able to connect one scanner to the L channel, and the other scanner to the R channel. Of course, this method will only work if the broadcasting software/plugin allows you the option to select/pan either R or L channel for the source input.

I run a Dual Stereo feed. M-AUDIO make a sound card, (GordonE uses one,) that has 4 Mic inputs for a total of 8 Scanner feeds from ONE Windows XP Computer. of course the M-AUDIO card comes with a High Price, 1 to 3 hundred dollars. the next one for me is also by M-AUDIO but has two Mic inputs so I can run either a single Stereo feed or Split stereo and 4 feeds.

The currant software used on these feeds supports Stereo.
