2 meter t-hunting.

Would I find people doing fox hunting on 2 meters in this forum?

I did a long time ago. The local ham club used to have fox hunts.

Out club does several t-hunts a year. The last one was a demo of the new "Kracken" t- hunting device. It literally can locate the transmitter in a few seconds. Several can be linked together to give exact coordinates within a few minutes.

No, it can happen with a modern device like that. Using GPS, driving around, and online mapping, it is ta different world than the old fashion way.

We have been playing with the linking of two of them and it is amazing how fast they can locate the target to within a block. The cool part is it will also give verbal turn directions to drive to the target.
