Thats actually a good question someone once showed and explained to me in person the dif antennas on indy/nascars .. few for in car cam one or more for radio and yet another was told was telemetry. How its sent and rxed , protocol or freq ive been currious on. Another thing is how much of the telemetry are they allowed to use share or know during races. All very tiny. Uhf-ghz range antennas. I know they (nascar indy teams officials) monitor quite a bit. There computer stuff(laptops etc) they dont like public seeing but it is on a big screen usually and can be seen walking by pitrow. I found a job online for a team and it dealt with rf/it networking telem was a area u worked with along with tvs pcs internet and radio stuff. I joked to a buddy to apply!Does anyone know more info on the car telematics and how that data is sent wirelessly?
