Does anyone know more info on the car telematics and how that data is sent wirelessly?
Thats actually a good question someone once showed and explained to me in person the dif antennas on indy/nascars .. few for in car cam one or more for radio and yet another was told was telemetry. How its sent and rxed , protocol or freq ive been currious on. Another thing is how much of the telemetry are they allowed to use share or know during races. All very tiny. Uhf-ghz range antennas. I know they (nascar indy teams officials) monitor quite a bit. There computer stuff(laptops etc) they dont like public seeing but it is on a big screen usually and can be seen walking by pitrow. I found a job online for a team and it dealt with rf/it networking telem was a area u worked with along with tvs pcs internet and radio stuff. I joked to a buddy to apply!

Personally, I don't think I'd be able to interpret the data, besides "secure" computer communications, I'm sure it's encrypted so that other teams can't learn of their data....same with the radios used in the NFL between QBs and coaches.

Spotter Guide and Frequencies are out for Madison, IL - No updates in frequencies since detroit. So no need to download and program if you're already setup.

Are the any updates for the Fox frequencies, especially the director's channel. I assume the Fox Truck channel shown so far is the director's channel. I am heading to MidOhio for my annual trek and want to update my scanner to remove all the old NBC stuff.

I have some listed on my site from previous races this season... Best bet is to load them all and/or experiment with your scanner on scanning everything in a frequency range. The problem is that what worked at one track might not be available at the next, and with no historical data for Fox at any track, I'd hate to lead you astray with a confident answer of what it is you need to program ahead of time. I'm always looking for locals to give me updates as they find them, and I pass those along on the website as well as my mailing list... So watch there as well. But scanning the frequency range is your best bet (and then share your findings!)

What scanner do you have?

I already loaded your list into my Baofeng U5R and saw the "bonus" list of FOX frequencies that was not included in the CSV. It was that list that prompted my question since the last update on Fox was from Indy 500. I was hoping someone could reconfirm those from subsequent races. I'll check back after July 1.

New updates (lots of them- see below!) on a new website!
I've redesigned and created IndyCarFreq.com - check it out!

The new site is faster, cleaner, and much easier to use—both for you and for me. Navigation is smoother, updates are quicker, and your scanning experience just got an upgrade.
Coming soon: community-submitted frequencies! You’ll be able to share real-time updates when something changes, so everyone stays current.
https://indycarfreq.com/
And- you'll really want to visit this week! Lots of updates on the spotter guide: #5, #7, #10, #12, #18, #20, #21, #30, #45, #51, #66, #83, and #90 have all had one or both frequencies change. So check your files, and make some updates!

Flip-Floppers.
So last week, cars 5, 10, 12, 20, 51, 66, 83, and 90 all changed their primary and backup frequencies. As well as cars 7, 18, 21, 30, and 45 changing one of their frequencies (mostly backup, but some primary)
This week, they all reverted back to what I am pretty sure was their previously used frequencies. I'd have to compare spotter guides to know for sure, but I think they all reverted, and then #60 changed primary only and had not previously...
Why is this? Are these the "standard" primary and backups... but they have additional "standards" they go to- if there is known interference at a particular track?

Just seemed weird- anyways, spotter guide is out, everything updated on IndyCarFreq - Scanner Frequencies for IndyCar Fans as well as download config files!

Not sure how I feel about this.
On the one hand, I really miss being able to catch any race/qual/practice on Peacock, live or on delay.
On the other, this should really light a fire under Fox to do great things. Be it streaming things, or production things...
