Saint Louis City is putting their siren system on P25. I somewhat have the feeling that a P25 talk group on their MOSWIN setup will be allocated for the use. I have no idea if the talkgroup will be encrypted or not.

I have had my BCD436HP on ID Search on the St Louis City 700 site and have heard nothing so far.

Thought I would mention this here.

You won't hear much on the 700 site (205). You'll hear city FD dispatch and city EMS dispatch. Not much else. I and another RR member have done a little searching on that site and really don't know what that site is really used for. The 201 site nearly 100% of the traffic for the city...and more.

You'll hear city FD dispatch and city EMS dispatch
and not all of them. On my unication I noticed long periods of silence and will see that my system switched to 205 so I finally removed that tower

A new year and we are always looking for help on MOSWIN sites.
There are still a few North MO sites that have moved from Zone 1 to Zone 5 and we need to get the new site/Zone number in the database. Missing are at least Missing Zone 5 sites: 7, 10, 23, and 27
Possible sites that may have changed are:
- Avalon,
- Trenton,
- Unionville?
- Brookfield?
- Macon?
- Carrollton
- Fayette
- Keyetesville
And so forth

Any of these you can pick up would be greatly appreciated!

Happy New year!

- Avalon, ..... Recently updated to 5.10
- Trenton,......Recently updated to 5.27
- Unionville?.....Not in Troop A or H
- Brookfield?.....Not in Troop A or H
- Macon?..... Not in Troop A or H
- Carrollton......Most likely site number 5.23 based on recent update to Avalon's neighbor list. Control channel information might help confirm it with the CC in the zone 1 entry. Site 1.84
- Fayette.....Not in Troop A or H
- Keyetesville..... Not in Troop A or H

At the end of 2025 there was a discussion about a site in Warrensburg. If you do a side-by-side comparison with Holden (site 1.52), you'll see the frequencies are the same even though the two towns are only a few miles apart. Unless we know for sure a site in Warrensburg even exits, I would delete the Warrensburg site and change Holden from 1.52 to 5.19.

As far as I can see, the Cole Camp site is the only other site left that needs an zone/site update to Zone 5.

Going out on a limb here and guessing Cole Camp is site 5.7
A neighboring site at Windsor looks like it had a recently updated neighbor list. Every site in the list was spoken for except 5.7

In addition, sites 1 though 17 are VHF sites and 7 is the only vacancy.

Thanks to @talkpair and two others who provided these final (?) slots in the Zone 5 changeover.
Before we change Carrollton, I'd like to verify all the frequencies for Carrollton as the control channel as shown is NOT in a standard template.
Anyone near Carrollton who could get these?
Thanks!

I'm still leaning toward 5.23 as Carrollton.

I read RMason's post from October 2025 again carefully and noticed that 5.23 is a neighbor to Richmond and Aullville along with the recently updated site neighbors list for the Avalon site

However the control channel frequency in his findings is 773.05625 and not 773.50625 currently listed in the database.

Carrollton may follow the Rolla700 / Carthage template.

Carrollton is probably on this tower. It has the same side mount antennas as most of the 700 MHz sites.

5-35 is probably on this tower.

I see the location was updated for 5-36. I guessed that one correctly. I'm working on other locations but Google street view is either too old or too far away from some of them.

This would make a lot of sense and follow the "i" template. Need someone in the area to confirm.

Thanks

Had a band opening this morning and captured Carrollton without leaving the house.
Submitting changes and using the location from nd5y's post.
