2051 questions

I tried posting this twice in the 2051 thread but got no response. Maybe no one knows the info yet because it was just released but if you do know please let me in on it or show me a link. I looked on RS website and the RS base comparison sheet.

I have a few questions about this radio if anyone can help me. I am seriously considering buying it even though it doesn't have text tags.

Does anyone know the diminsions? Is it the same as the BCT8? (HxWxL)

Does the close call feature work like that on the 246t by scanning all the bands or does it only search one band at a time?

Does it come with a full version of programming software or do you have to buy that extra? Or is there a freeware you can use?

I have heard the radio is about the same size as the 2096 however have not seen one yet.

I just received my 2051 today! I haven't had much time to play with it, but the dimensions are: 7" wide, 2 3/8" high, and 6" deep.

I'm still looking for software/freeware.
