2096 DIN mounting

Does the 2096 have vehicle specific DIN mounts? My 2000 explorer has a double, or 1.5 DIN opening. I'd like to get a single DIN cd player, and use the rest of the space for the 2096, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about mounting it. thanks

It does not have vehicle specific din mounts, but you just buy the brackets from a dealer or installer for your vehicle like they would use to mount any din radio. You may have to do some Dremel work to make the opening fit exactly around where the 2096 face is. I usually don't use the "Sleeve" and just mount it like any stock radio. You probably need a Double din to mount a CD player and a 2096.
