if anybody was up listening to AACo FIRE at about 12:10... they put a call out to assist US Coast Guard on a reported boat in distress... after about 5 min... fire alarm advised units that the marine channel would be 21A... anybody with ideas on what this was about? (nothing became of the boat... nothing was found... but would be nice to have this information available in case this happens again)

also... anybody have freq for the US Coast Guard in this area? and MSP helo freq? (they put trooper 2 in the air)

YES! The USCG marine common freqs are listed on this db under nationwide common... They use these nationwide, and also have several that are not listed and are secure chans. Also they operate on many of the TRS's in port city areas,,... For example in SC, they operate on the Charleston County TRS, and have tg's on the Palmetto 800 TRS though I never did get to monitor them on the Palmetto,... In a magor good show of interop in SC they also do magor interop with the CCSO, and all the local LEA's and VFD's in not only security, but also SAR ops on the Harbour Patrol Common Chans on the CCTRS.
