Chinese woman talking, appears to be a professional broadcast of some type. It is getting very strong at times.

Location here is near KC.

Listen on 15.44 MHz, your probably picking up a 2nd harmonic from either Radio China or Radio Taiwan intl.

Ah, yes I believe that's it. Interesting... I never would have guessed they would have that strong of a harmonic.

You don't happen to be using a GRE PSR series or a RS PRO-1xx ? Both my PSR-500 and PRO-197 are terrible on low band - There is a lot of this (including 30.88) when I scan low band . I've had to lock out quite a few freqs like that . Very annoying.

traded my 600 for just that reason to a old 780.
