Can someone Please provide Step by Step instructions for assigning Sites and Groups on this model Scanner? I am still fairly new to using this Digital type radio. Reading the user manual is not always so clear. I have created multiple Systems being either P25, Moto, or Conventional. I would like to be able to Toggle Off/On these different Systems as needed.

Thank You for all and any Help.

I'm a novice at this scanner also but if you want to turn off the entire system push the number key on keypad and an asterisk will appear replacing the system number, push it again and it will back on. If you want to lockout and individual frequency push Hold and scroll to the frequency and push L/O once. This is only temporary when you turn the scanner back on any locked out frequencies will be restored to active.

Great scanner!

You need to program Systems, then add Frequencies, then add Talk Groups in that order.

Read about Quick Keys to toggle systems on and off. Here is an "Easier to Read" manual.

Also take note of the difference between "ID Scan" and "ID Search".

Good luck!
Thanks for your help, takes time to become familiar with many of the Scanners Functions and Menu's. You just have to take the time to Inter-act with the Radio and you slowly start learning.
