While looking for DX on lowband tonight, caught 33.62 136.5. It mentioned Upper Merion Township. The only Upper Merion I know of is in Montgomery County, PA. I know 136.5 is a PL used by MontCo and 33.62 I believe is in the old low band radios. Anyone have further confirmation on what exactly I was hearing and why it was on low band?

Also 158.85 136.5 - this sounds like a simulcast repeater for MontCo fire. Any confirmation on this?

33.62 is used by Lower Providence Fire Co in Montco. What I was told is that they saw no reason to get rid of old lowband pagers. The do have new highband pagers, but they kept older equipment and just crossband dispatch and other traffic to the lowband frequency.

I don't listen to it, so I don't know if it carries all the same traffic as their 152.945 crossband or if it just crossbands the 158.355 dispatch freq.

I never added it to the database page because it does not carry any traffic that can't already be heard on other listed frequencies.

158.850 should be a Fire Region 5 rebroadcast for Cheltenham.
