Br330t

I had a PRO-97 for a week and sold it due to not being able to use the virtual control on it from the computer.......I just got my 300T about 2/3 weeks ago and love it......probably the best reciever I've ever had in a handheld, and I've had a few. Be sure and get the software for it...makes it a lot easier to program.....the Butel ARC330 is the best I've found for it.
Good Luck

I got a BR330T recently and love it. Had a BC246T before it and it's so much better. Had a ICOMR5 also, and the BR330T brought back that love of the R5 since the 330 has just cell blocked out. So I'm able to get AM and FM radio, UHF and VHF TV broadcasts, shortwave and more with this just like I could on the ICOM R5. It has great features like smart charging and knows when it's charged. Also lets you see the current charge on the display. Signal strength meter on the display. Lets you toggle between alpha tags and the frequency. Backlit keyboard. Good loud volume. Solid feeling construction, not like the toy feeling of the 246. I really can't say anything bad about the 330.

Smart Charging? I thought I just read a post here about it not being so, and used a timer instead?

well it constantly knows the voltage. it's on the display so i guess it would know when it's done. still might charge for a set time since i think when you unplug it, it starts from the begining again. but at least it will stop charging and say on the screen 'charge complete' when it's done. not like the BC246T that just charges and charges.... by smart charging i just mean it's doing something and letting you know. not like all the other scanners i've had that just are 'stupid chargers' in that they don't tell you anything. ; )
