360 clt ?

Hi. I'm new to dxing and vhf/uhf scanning. I currently own an eton 750 which goes up to 30s mhz and am thinking of buying a scanner that can pick up amateur radio and tv for 100 pounds roughly. Does anybody recommend the 360 clt which is available at amazon UK for 113 pounds ? I've also noticed a bc 370 crs, is this simular to the 360 clt ? I've searched the net but have found useful information hard to come by. Any advice or other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also forgot to ask the difference between base scanners and handheld, other than the obvious difference, also can you tune scanners like radios and hf communications receivers. Thanks.
