396 audio pausing during trunking

My first time to post. I've been listening to a motorola trunking system in Oklahoma City and I noticed a problem with my 396. It seems during a transmission the audio cuts out for about a half a second and then resumes the transmission. This occurs about every 3 or 4 seconds during every transmission. I compared the 396 with my Pro-92 and the 92 doesn't have this problem. Does anybody have a solution to fix this problem with the 396?

A couple of things to check:

Are priority, weather alert, or closecall turned on?

Same problem for me, I kept wondering why the heck is the audio dropping out and I remembered CloseCall was on. I guess I need another scanner just for CloseCall, hmmm

You could get the BCT15 or BCD996T, they both have Close Call Do Not Disturb.
