396XT and 996XT

Has anyone had a problem getting the CD's that come with these scanners to work with Vista?
I had to call HP Tech support to have them make adjustments to my computer to get them to work.
They said that they are really not Vista compatible.

In my experience nothing is Vista Compatible. Windows 7 is a whole lot nicer and if you get Win7 professional you get a XP emulation virtual machine so any old 98/2K/XP program will work with your computer.

No problem on either of my Vista boxes.

I finally got them to work but only with the help of HP Tech support.
