Just a quick question. I live in northern NJ (Union County) and have been hearing brief comms on 415.150 MHz very clear, strong, and non-digital. Does anyone know who uses that channel? I really appreciate any feedback you may have. I'm hearing similar traffic on 416.775 and 414.750 as well. However, these frequencies are not very active.

Also, 155.805 MHz is listed in the reference guide as Garwood Public Works, however I'm hearing Police activity on this channel which coincides with the FCC database which lists this is as Garwood PD. I believe this was a misprint in the radio reference database.

Hello. In most areas I've visited those precise 414, 415 and 416 MHz channels are the the U.S. Postal Service.

Re: 155.805

The 155.805 is the Garwood DPW with a PL tone of 118.8. Garwood PD is on 453.10 with a PL tone of 162.2. The database is correct, but I think they still have a VHF radio in the cars so perhaps that is what your hearing .At one time a Corrections base from NY was on that 155.805 but no longer.
