Haven't heard of an HP2 with it either, though Paul stated he expects it as they use the same/similar RTC.

If you want to see it, you have to put it in clock mode. It does not show the clock on the default display (while scanning).

But, it does use the clock for recordings like the x36 series does.

And I have yet to hear of a HP-x series having a clock battery issue. That's the part I find funny. (translation for clarity: That's the part I find odd)

Yes clock on HP-2 is stealth. No problems with it.

No - it's called supply and demand. When something becomes available, the price drops.
what is interesting is the recent increase trend.

On my 436, I did the firmware update for the temporary clock fix, and now the radio freezes on the start up screen. I have to take a battery out to cut power, then re insert them, in order for the radio to function, again.

Add it to the list of issues with it...

Same with mine. Now that I have the temporary clock fix my BCD536HP locks up once a day during power up... About once for every 3 power on it locks up and I have to pull the power and plug it back in get to get it to come on... Tried two different SD cards same issue.Crazy!

Lol, somebody doesn't seem to know what this chart represents :)

More to the point, check this out:

http://www.bloomberg.com/research/s...t=incomeStatement&period=A&currency=US Dollar

Have a look at the fall in revenue over the last few years (50% fall in only four years).

Then check out the level of R&D spent for 2015.

Sale of investments and sale of assets made up virtually the entire US$3.3Mil net income for 2015.

In other words, without sales of hard assets, Uniden would probably made a loss for this year too.

It's not looking too promising for the 50y/o company.

Sorry for going OT. Maybe this topic deserves it's own thread.

Leave it plugged in and turned on longer in order to more fully charge the Real Time Clock battery (takes 50 total hours).

I did this step (left it on three days) and still have the clock issue. FYI. 436HP.
