What agency am I hearing on 453.975 mhz, DPL 115?

I hear Unit numbers and Street names but I cannot figure out who this is. I see nothing in the RR Database and I cannot find a license listed for that frequency in Brigantine in the FCC Database. This is definitely in Brigantine and it just started transmitting in the past few days.

Just curious. Thanks for any help.

Thank you. That explains the license. Now who could be accessing this repeater? It seems as though in my few days of monitoring that it starts around 8 a.m. and seems to end around 6 p.m. Those are business hours however, I doubt any business is using this frequency since it is a public safety frequency.

i would guess the DPW (department of public works)
i am retired and get to listen any time i to anything i want and most public service stuff is daytime.
even the cop freqs are busier during the day, but they never quit.
i have seen many folks use expired licenses and even old equipment.
and down here the former presidents would go to boca grande and our county was using their 800 analog system, but for those details they used the old 150Mhz stuff, even the chopper. it has now been decades and they don't use it anymore.
the giveaway was the new higher ranking sheriff's cars and a 150 Mhz antenna and now they don't
i did think it was for the state 154.68 for cross talk, but i never heard any.

That is a good thought, thank you. I will try to confirm this.

What are some of the street/road names you are hearing? what are the unit numbers too? That might help us.
