Since purchasing a Quansheng UV-K5 last year my Yaesu and Icom HT's sit on a shelf gathering dust.
The Quansheng with the updated firmware does a lot and does it very well. However if I am being honest I use it more as a wideband scanner than a transceiver.

Loaded ezgumer into mine and love it. Works great as a cheap radio to leave in my glovebox. I only monitor a few airband frequencies, and a handful of VHF LMR, but it works well for me.
