5-City Radio System New TG

I live about 20 miles east of Lorain County but I'm able to pick up the 5 City system pretty good so I ran a discovery search this week and picked up 2 new TG. Nothing i can submit but TG 4427 was testing to a bunch of different schools in Lorain County. TG 4606 was a fire ground channel but not sure of the department. Just a heads up.

I have heard the radio checks with Schools on TG4427 too...
Looks like they might be installing radios in the schools that encompass the 5-City system...
Not sure though if those radio checks are originating from local law or from the 911 call center...

Also heard chatter on TG4606 too... Havn't ID'd what exactly it is yet... It does sound like fire comm's though...

Yes you are correct I can see the old Avon Lake CEI towers from my house. I caught a lot more traffic on TG4427 this week testing to the High School, Middle School, Knollwood School which is in Sheffield. Could probably submit but not sure what to call it.

They appear to do a radio check everyday with the schools... But not always at the same time...
Another school I heard was Forestlawn... That's in Sheffield Lake...

With respect to the old CEI stacks... The 5 City (Simulcast) system tower/site in Avon Lake is located on the water tower...

Appears to be (Acording to verbage heard) ID'd as North Ridgeville fire training...
Still monitoring to make sure...

From what I'm still hearing it does sound like fire training exersizes... 11:37am

I heard North Ridgeville fire dispatch put a call out for an assist with Westcom fire... Westcom fire is on the Marcs-IP system...
Then I heard verbage from Westcom fire dispatch and TG4517 on the 5-City system at the same time... Thats from two
different scanners...

On Marcs-IP... Under Statewide Mutual Aid...
They show a TG54517 as...

Here is what I logged this week that is new:
4460-Lifecare calling Dispatch. No other traffic then that.
4460-FD Fire Ground with a unit # of 461. Could not make out anymore than that.
4265- North Ridgeville call to Ridgeville FD-25

Heard a lot this weekend... Westshore Fire Dispatch TG13503 and 5-City System TG4517...
Hearing the same verbage at the same time...
Not sure if thats a mutual TG between the two...

Heard a new TGID yesterday... "TGID 4035"
Lucky I caught it on the scanner... SDS100 in ID Search mode...

Heard it twice within 5min...
"Avon PD to Avon Fire do you copy"
There was no response from the Fire Dept though...

Avon PD is on the Marcs-IP system...
