Does it sound like a trunking frequency from a Project 25 system? I know that the Hawaii Islands Regional Interoperability Network is in the first stages of deployment in the Honolulu area. Your discovery of 774.04375 maybe part of this new digital radio network?

Yours truly,

Ron

It's not part of the Hawaii Islands Regional Interoperability Network TRS. The NAC code for that TRS uses 888.

BTW, I made a typo on the NAC code. It should be 710 (not 170).

What I'm hearing sounds like conventional P25. It sounds like building security some where in Honolulu.

It's very active this morning.

the RR DB says the SysID is 888, not the NAC.

Maybe it needs to be updated.

On most P25 TRS systems, I've noticed the NAC is general setup to match the SysID.

I have confirmed that that NAC being used for the Hawaii Islands Regional Interoperability Network TRS is 888. I've heard the various radio techs talking on there the past few days while search the 764 thru 796 range.
