I recently got my Uniden 796D, i have been previously using a Radio Shack Pro-95. I noticed that when i'm doing an ID scan on the 796D it often doesn't catch the beginning of transmissions on talkgroups. I know this because the Pro-95 catches them, is there a way to fix this?

Are you in MOT controller only mode? There are some older type one MOT systems using 5 channels that require you enter all 5 channels. Thats because the controller uses all freqs and may rotate several times a day. This may not be the problem but with 800 trunking you never get enough information on anything. Good Luck

Try changing delay to none. Trunking works best with no delay. End code detect will take care of holding a group until its finished.
