800 Rebanding Effects on Oklahoma

Read the rebanding thread on the scanning forum gets a little confusing so my question is what systems in Oklahoma will be effected by the rebanding???

From what I read .. pretty much everything that is PS.

If I remember the chart correctly, we are in the second phase, so it might be awhile before the reassignments start taking place.

The short answer is, "we do not know". We do know that certian scanner models will become unable to trunktrack.

All kinds of people are going to get bent outta shape about this. Look at it this way .. now you will have a non-trunktracking scanner dedicated to just scanning conventionally! One can never have enough radios.

That rebanding thread does get a bit confusing if you really do not know how trunktracking scanners work under the hood first.
