PSR500/PSR600: 800 search steps

While searching for new 800 control channels I noticed I wasn’t hearing my local 800 control channel in search mode. It seems the search step is incorrect and it going past my local cc. I have looked in the manual and win500 software for a place to change the search step with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't know about the software but maybe you can do it manually:

I believe the OP is referring to 800 MHz frequencies with the PSR-500/PSR-600. Using Win500 software.

Sorry, my error! That was about Doc's PRO-668/PSR-800 manual.

Extended settings tab right side "enable flex step". You can also set to allow 5k steps in vhf 138-174.

The Whistler scanners do not stop on Control Channels in search mode, they will play any voice channels, but not control channels.
