898 Control channel only help?

Hi group!

I was 'tinkering' with my new 898 and I programmed in one of our motorola type II 900 mhz systems, I turned the knob from programf and programid and found cconly, on/off option. I was told the 898 didn't do control channel only and it's not documentated in the manual. I also found that in the type II 800 mhz trunking it come up with a cconly plan 1,2,3,4.

What's going on? did I get a new version or what?

898T CC Only

There is a series of key strokes and a explanation written on the www.grove-ent.com board on how to do CC trunking on the 898T scanner. Can you believe that it was omitted in the book they call a manual.
