Here I am, intruding on a Maryland thread, again.

413.875 (CSQ) is the output for FPS repeaters in Philly, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore. I hear the Philly field units in my area. Similar to you guys, I'll also hear the "Philadelphia Megacenter" during the entire periodic roll call, but I only hear the local field units. As far as I know, the P and G designators denote the FPS police units from the FPS security guards. Nowadays, FPS police cars have "Homeland Security" plastered all over them. You can usually spot a cruiser or two parked at your nearest federal building.

I'm the fool who took on the task of reorganizing the FPS wiki page...if anyone has anything additional to add to it, please do! I got the ball rolling, but it doesn't look like anyone else has added their local repeaters like I had hoped.

If you do a Google search, you can find a GAO report about the FPS and it's regional dispatch centers.

Hardly a fool, Ben. You did us a service by doing the work - it's a little known service that really doesn't get much attention. Now if we could only find out where all these repeaters really are....that would be worth knowing.....

Stumbled across that when looking for transmitter locations, etc. Unfortunately, the GAO report doesn't get technical at all.

All we're sure of right now is that a transmitter at 413.875MHz was installed in TinEar's lawnmower shed....

They have a site downtown on one of the federal buildings and they also have one in Baltimore County on the West side on a federal bldg over there.
