BCD325P2/BCD996P2: 996p2 breaking up

I have my 996p2 for awhile. I used RR to load the scanner with local frequencies.
Lately when a broadcast comes on it would start but cut off. It is some kind of interference, I believe.
Is there a setting that controls this?
I want to hear the entire conversation.

Sounds like you might have a priority on. Check and make sure there are no priorities on or searches.

plus check the wx button make sure its not on too

try to scare your scanner with a real loud noise! it has the hiccups!
