Ive read the manual but something isn't computing with me...

How do I manually input a frequency?

Im pressing hold then typing in the frequency but then its asking me to save it to a system. When I press "no" it still asking me to chose which system to save it in. I don't want to do that, I just want to tune in.

Alternatively, how can I simply toggle thru the frequency ranges without having to save stuff.

You need to create a system and a group to enter a frequency.

Frequencies are part of a group, and groups are part of a system, when dealing with the 996 file structure. You need to continue reading the manual.
