Looking for some help in regards to the volume offset... Do I have to go through each talkgroup in each system to change the offset? or is there a way to set them all to a certain level all at once.

Not to sound silly, but you could accomplish the same thing by turning up the volume knob if you were wanting them all offset higher. That is more useful when you have some agencies that transmit at a higher or lower than you prefer. Sorry if I am misunderstanding what you want to accomplish.

I am using computer speakers for the audio output.. I have the scanner volume at 10 and the speaker volume about half way up and its still hard to hear some of the traffic. Turningt he speakers up any further causes crackle sound in the voice traffic. What I am trying to do is adjust the volume offset and hope to be able to turn either the speaker volume or scanner volume down to a level that gets rid of the crackle sound.. If that makes sense? I have been playing with it all morning and made some progress..

Sounds like you might have bad speakers. Turning up the offset may result in the same thing at a lower speaker volume.

That said, you can change it in FreeScan by highlighting all the channels, then change it in the last one. The rest will be changed, too.
(be sure you keep holding the SHIFT button while you select it to maintain the selections)

That said, you can change it in Sentinel by changing it in one channel, copy that cell, then paste it to the others.

Sentinel works on a 996XT???
