a little advice

I have a pro 95 am thinking of getting another scanner either the pro 83 or the BC246t. The question I have is would it be better to go with the pro 83 mainly for the signal stalker feature than the more expensive 246 since my 95 can track the trunk calls or should I go ahead and spend the extra cash and get the 246. I know the 246 is like a lexus and the pro 83 is like a chevy cavalier but just don't know if I want to get the 246 now or wait and see what the pro 97 offers or wait until a new digital scanner comes out anyone have any advice??

I picked up the PRO83 just for the SS feature and will just take it along with my PRO96. I am skipping the 246 for now until the PRO97 comes out. That will give me time to justify buying another radio since I do have well over a dozen

Do you want to decode the CTCSS/CDCSS tones/codes of the signals you capture? The CTCSS/CDCSS during scan is enough for me to shell out the extra $100. Since your 95 won't do digital either, I would probably get the 246 and sell the 95. After all, there is a size advantage to consider as well.

The new digital scanners are probably a year away anyway.
