Actually, I DO rip them off of the internet! After that I manually remove blemishes, specks of dust, then resize them, play with the lighting levels, and then sharpen them up a little. Sometimes I even put in a different background. It's something I like to do after work for relaxation.

Great work - outstanding :)

I tweak mine using Corel Photopaint but haven't yet got them to "pop", but I think that depends a lot on the original lighting.

I grew up with several Science Fair kits. My brother is more of an electronics tech than I am but I learned basic electricity and electronic theory well enough to be comfortable when I was rated as an electrician in the US Navy years ago.
