Bridges and ramps in the nothern part of the County iced up quickly around 4 AM.
I heard units dispatched to the Stoney Creek bridge, eastbound Rt 100 and I-97, I-295 and I-695.
The worst was at I -295 and I-195. When units arrived they found numerous accidents. The assignment was upgraded to a rescue box with an unconcious person in the vehicle that skidded into PM 32. An urgent request was made to have AACO PD , MSP and Park Police to close the road and MD DOT to dispatch salt trucks as the condtions were " extremely dangerous" to work in. Units dispatched for the rescue assignment had diffculty getting to the scene due to road conditions.
BC 1 reported to Fire Alarm that they had a priority 4 extracation in progress. I couldn't tell if this was the person in the vehicle that collided with PM 32 or not.
