I have an SDS200 with the DMR key.
I used Sentinel to program a Favorite List, with the NIFOG frequencies.
In this FL, the scanner stops on Public Safety Common UHF Med Channels, when it does, all I hear is a buzzing noise, but no decoded audio.

I've have had other DMR systems programmed in before and DMR decodes fine.

What's the secret sauce to decode DMR when downloading stuff straight from Sentinel?

Why are you assuming that you're hearing DMR on the MED channels? Perhaps you left out a bit of info as to what exactly you're trying to accomplish. Exactly which frequencies do you hear this "buzzing" noise on, and are you certain that it's digital voice and not some sort of telemetry?

When the scanner stops, I can see on the display color code and slot info, that's how I know it is a DMR frequency.
As far as whether is telemetry, I cannot answer, I just programmed what's available on Sentinel and that comes off straight off the database on RR.

The frequency in question seems to be 463.10625.

It appears that Frequency is between "Channels". See the following.

463.10000 468.10000 RMMed-5Med-5 FMN EMS-Tac
463.12500 468.12500 RMMed-6Med-6 FMN EMS-Tac

I'm using what Sentinel and RR database gives me. Radio displays color code , slot info, so, what are you saying?
If it is a frequency using a mode outside of DMR or P25, then, why is the scanner displaying it as DMR?

You stated that it was from NIFOG, which as far as I know only uses Analog or P25 only. Sometimes on my scanners, if a frequency like that is adjacent to another, sometimes shows as DMR, NXDN or P25 with a color code or NAC but is incorrect.

Are you setting those channels to ANALOG?
Are you setting those channels to AUTO?
Again, downloading it straight off from the Sentinel/RR database , if by analog or auto, you mean audio option, initially, it was set to search, I then set it to color code 0, and it has no made any difference.

Like posted above tools we use in the field now have the ability to send heart strips to the Hospital and also are using tablets linked to dispatch and tickets are done in the field. Is the noise always on the same slot?

I'm leaning to that as an answer.
Since I live in an metropolitan area, it could very well be a frequency used for NXDN.
Unfortunately, I had not renewed my RR Premium membership so, I cannot ascertain if it is.

Upon further examination, the scanner stops on 462.9875, and still it is unable to decode, when it says it is a DMR.

I will have to keep listening to answer that.
