Anyone have info on an accident that occurred at the intersection of Gladstone and Glendora in the city of Glendora? I was on my home right now and I heard talk of an accident scene. The entire intersection is shut down and no one is allowed near it. Several lights are illuminating the intersection and they have pop up tents deployed in the intersection. Seems pretty serious. The only chatter I am hearing now is regarding the final resting spots of the vehicles involved.

From what I had heard, there was a 2 vehicle accident with a possible fatality. From what I was listening to it must be a fatality because the Sergeant was asking for CHP - Baldwin Park's phone number. I do know that there was an animal involved that was taken by Animal Control to the Emergency Vet Hospital in Diamond Bar. They had Gladstone closed as far west Grand and as far east as Bonnie Cove, as far south on Glendora Ave as Payson and as far north as Dawson (right by the golf course). They might be wanting to do an accident reconstruction. I know that they were getting their mobile command station up and the lights were from Jans Towing.

I got stuck in the traffic going south on Glendora and was detoured on to Dawson. I figured it was a fatal TC, but there had to be something more to the story since they brought such a big production out. There was a city vehicle involved in the TC, and the deceased person was in that city vehicle. The city has to cover themselves VERY well in this incident. I found this on another site Death on Gladstone - Topix

I am kind of surprised that the city would do their own investigation instead of getting the CHP out there to do the investigation, an INDEPENDENT investigation. I know that if there is an officer involved accident they usually get either CHP of LASD to do the investigation. And if you missed it, it might be because no news people will hear about it. I tried to find anything from SGVTribune.com or latimes.com, but nothing. City cover up, maybe?

Everything that happens in Glendora is hush hush. The only time you hear about Glendora in the news is if there is a bear running around the foothills lol. I actually found some stories in other news papers, primarily Inland Empire, because the deaceased is from Fontana.
