I hear Amtrak PD all day long between OSB and NLC

You can Hear Amtrak Any were along the Shoreline and up Springfield

MNRR uses Radio less than Amtrak Seeing how they use the PA on the train instead of the radio and they also make big use of the line side telephone

P And W is a good listen any were in the state

the Valley went NXDN

Has CSX in North Haven, CT gone NXDN? I have them programmed on my orion with the provided frequencies, but have not heard a word. I know they have a yard off Universal Dr, right behind the old circuit city.

You would still hear the digital data. Not a whole lot goes on for csx down there.

Just a suggestion but if you were in the area with a close-call equipped scanner, you may get a few hits.

you would have to be at the yard to really hear anything. they do not do Much Switching. when i have seen them doing some seen lots of hand signals

The North Haven (Cedar Hill) yard workers are on portables so you may not hear much from them if you are far out (no repeater). Last time I checked they were still analog but that was months ago (had to stop at PC Richards)

I've been getting good consistent activity on the Amtrak road channel. Nothing from MNRR either.

MNR is on AAR channel 29 They Don't talk as much as Amtrak

Put P&W in you will hear stuff at odd times. one of the dispatchers likes to ramble with the crews all night. some time he brings up the ct bases when he is talking to crews in mass
