Would this be associated with an existing Favorites List or the Full Database in the scanner?

For Favorites List, use Sentinel to edit the favorites list, drill down to the the Department where you would like to place the new talkgroup. Then click the green plus sign in the right pane. Go to the newly created line and fill in the blanks.

If you are only scanning the full database and not a Favorites List, you'll need to submit the new data to the RR website in the database section. Then wait until the update is made to the on-line database. After that happens, use Sentinel to Update the Master Database and write the updated database to the scanner.
