The 40th Adirondack Balloon Festival begins today in Glens Falls. Lots of opportunity to listen to multiple bands from today through Sunday...FRS/GMRS, CB, and 122.475/129.900 should all be active during flights...IF the weather holds out.

Don't forget MURS (although use onboard aircraft in flight is actually prohibited, you're going to hear it anyway), and the various VHF and UHF itinerant business channels.
123.300 and 123.500 are also specifically allocated for air-ground use by hot air ballons and their chase vehicles.
