I would please like to know if anyone is or has ever used Google Earth as a map interface to monitor ADSB plane watching?

Thank You

And FWIW here's a shot of a DHL flight coming in to Pearson from Frankfurt. You can track them real time and watch them as they land and taxi to their final destination at the airport.

Flightradar24 lays out the A-DSB flights on the Google map background. So it has the same feel as Google Maps, or Google Earth. Live Flight Tracker - Real-Time Flight Tracker Map | Flightradar24

Choose 'Satellite Mode' in Settings and you get exactly what you see on Google Earth.
Reason why I ask is that I use google earth a lot for reference and have a lot of places marked and would like to be able to see them on the same map as the planes.

Ah, yes.. No placemarks.. I was trying to think what Google Maps provided that Flighradar24 didn't .. Missed the placemarks :)

Not aware of any other ADSB software that incorporates Google Earth/Maps.

I wish there were a better plug-in environment for GM. It would be nice to dump in ADS-B, AIS, weather, etc into it and overlay it all over a map.

ADS-B exchange has a google map like background. Not like placemarks, but you can save a particular flight into a log file.
