Programming is not all that difficult...You are not alone with trouble programming those radios.
Once your refund is cleared, consider buying from Amazon. If you still end up with a bad radio, at least returns are free.Tomorrow I'm going to request another RMA and ask a full refund. I'm tired of fiddling with this waste of time and money.
That wouldn't work since Bridgecom is the vendor for Amazon. The only other source is Gigaparts.Once your refund is cleared, consider buying from Amazon. If you still end up with a bad radio, at least returns are free.
And, my experience with them with returns hasn't been the best. The only other source is Gigaparts.

I got my 878 via Amazon through Let's Get Ready. That wouldn't work since Bridgecom is the vendor for Amazon. The only other source is Gigaparts.
I've bought from this fellow before and have been entirely satisfied with the results! Good to know he's got them in stock apparently.Unfortunately this guy doesn't have the Anytones on Amazon anymore. AnyTone Products - Let's Get Ready, Inc.
He has his own website and eBay store. That's where I bought my original Anytone, when he had them on Amazon. He is a local ham here in SoCal and a member of one of the repeater clubs I belong to. Really good guy and stands behind his sales. I don't know how returns would be handled though, since the radio isn't on Amazon under his store.
Firmware and CPS are up to date. Thanks for the suggestions in any case.I suspect I might have had a mismatch between CPS and firmware. Could you have the same?
