Hope everyone is well.

At work today there was a power outage. Being the super scanner geek that I am I tuned in my local AEP radio system and well, found that it was not working as it should.

I was missing part of the conversations on the system. I sat down and did some research to try and figure out what the problem was. Looks like there are some frequency changes and some LCN changes to their system.

In the data base we have the following:
LCN1 858.3875 LCN2 859.3875 LCN3 860.3875 LCN4 855.3875 LCN5 855.6625 LCN6 856.3625 and LCN7 857.3125

I did some research and with multiple scanners and the help of UNITRUNKER this is what I found the system currently running:

LCN1 858.8375 LCN2 859.3875 LCN3 860.3875 LCN4 855.3875 LCN5 855.6625 LCN6 856.3625 LCN7 857.8125 and LCN8 860.9125

Looks like they changed 2 of the frequencies and added #8.

LCN 2 remains the control channel for the EDACS system.

Can someone please put this in their scanner and verify it for me. I ran the system thru UNITRUNKER for about an hour and monitored it with it programed into one scanner as an EDACS system as well as monitored the frequencies in conventional mode. System seems to be correct.

The only issue I had was all the transmissions were DATA and little if no voice.

Again, can someone verify this and if it's correct I'll submit it to the Admin for a change in the Nueces County Database.
