AEP EDACS Plans

Does anyone know what AEP plans on doing with the current EDACS system? I know it is a huge system and they are still using it for now. Has anyone heard of a possible upgrade?

In my neck of the US, they had switched over to OpenSky a year or two ago. Perhaps they will do same there.

Thank you for replying. I know nothing about OpenSky, other than it can not be monitored with a scanner, unless things have changed.
