Anyone having any luck hearing these AEP TX TDMA towers in South Texas? Notes are saying that they are “online” but they are not. There is a data signal, but it is NOT P25.
I'm not close enough to hear any, but I'm pretty sure they are on-air. No scanners can decode a P25 TDMA cc yet. I believe the BTT receiver can as well as some of the SDR-based cc decoders.
I have copied and provided the info for most of the AEP site in S Texas. I primarily have used DSDplus fastlane and a SDRplay RSP2 while mobile and a BlueTail P25RX at the house with good results. There is however very little voice activity. It is mostly during the week and is primarily just dispatches for outages and can be hours between calls.
For the P25RX there is a pulldown on first tab to select TDMACC. I assume its available on the -II. Receiver will not decode sites without it being set.
Right now the Lon Hill site is broadcasting its CC on 854.7625.

You should check every frequency on the license(s) for each of those locations then. Each of those sites was verified online (not guesswork, but verified) by reputable people a long time ago (8/2021). Their channel lineups could have changed -- but that's unlikely. You are going to have to be monitoring it using either DSDPlus Fast Lane, A Bluetail Technology P25RX/P25RXII, or OP25 (and I may be forgetting some other softwares). No scanner supports TDMA at this time.
