In the November 2010 issue of Monitoring Times the Boats, Planes, And Trains column features Aeronautical Shortwave. In the column he gives a link to a site where you can find oceanic charts. I downloaded the North Atlantic Route Planning Chart (NARC). In addition to showing the location of all waypoints it includes an alphabetical list with lat and long. The chart itself is VERY busy.

Here's a direct link to the NARC. http://avn.faa.gov/enroute/11-18-2010/NARC.pdf

Enjoy,

While I'm at it, here's the Western Atlantic Route System Planning Chart.

Certainly require alot of zooming in ! Is there a way of knowing or calculating how large the map would be if it were to be professionally printed ? Bottom left corner says 30.74 x 23.55 in, no matter how much you zoom in.

You can buy these in paper form - these are simply pilot charts. They are quit big unfolded but you can fold them up to cover your zone, for instance.

I use to buy these regularly from our local "pilot's store" on Boeing Field in Seattle. They're not expensive... usually around $10 or less.

They're updated every year (some are more frequent.)

If I get some free time this weekend, I may swing by there to see how much they are, etc.
