Anybody spot any new TGs or hear traffic on LZ1/LZ2 for the new medical chopper in town?

"The expertly staffed and fully equipped AirCare helicopters will provide helipad-to-helipad patient transportation for MountainStar hospitals along the Wasatch Front and in Cache Valley, 24/7, 365 days a year. AirCare helicopters and flight crews will also assist local first-responders including emergency medical service agencies and fire departments by responding to major motor vehicle accidents and other incidents in which people are severely injured.

MountainStar will strategically locate one helicopter and a full-time crew at Mountain View Hospital in Payson. The other aircraft and a full-time crew will be based at Ogden Regional Medical Center. These helicopter bases will allow MountainStar AirCare to better serve MountainStar hospitals and their patients as well as other Utah hospitals, particularly smaller facilities in Utah’s rural communities."

AirCare/Classic Lifeguard-Air Medical/Mountain Point Med Center

This brings up a good point. Not only is the new AirCare going online soon so is Mountain Point Medical Center in Lehi. An Iasis Hospital as part of the Jordan Valley Hospital network. There should be a TG for them as well to look before between now and their May, 2015 opening.

I know Classic Air Medical/Classic Lifeguard out of Woods Cross/Vernal/Price and the like has been heard on the LZ channels when transporting from southern and eastern Utah recently. Any chatter TG's heard off the Wasatch Front??

Stuff to look for............

Eagle Air here in the Price area does not have any TGs that I am aware of. When transporting to the hospitals up north, they use the hospital channels (in this case, usually Utah Valley Regional Medical Center) and I would bet they have access to the LZ channels. I do know around the Price area when doing a scene flight, just like AirMed or Lifeflight would....they use the old statewide channel for LZs.

That's the one I'm thinking of there. I have heard Eagle talk to UVRMC on their TG. I have also heard Intermountain Lifelight on the LZ channels in St. George. Anyone confirm a TG for Dixie Regional Medical Center (DRMC) that lifelight uses as a air ambulance/hospital link there?

Tbogs: I know the only 800's used down there are UHP and the county dispatches for Carbon, Emery, Grand and San Juan are all still VHF. Good reason to keep the old Statewide channel in our radios still. :)

About four AM Aircare was dispatched to a jeep rollover at Chimney Rock Pass in the south end of Utah County. They were on the LZ channel but didn't hear a new dispatch TG. Will keep on searching....

Anyone heard a TG for MPMC since they are now in operation as well as a dispatch TG for AirCare?

I've heard air guard flight on that 17504 TG you heard in Moab, that's all I've heard here I'm not sure if it's the same as aircare maybe, eagle air I think switched to air guardian or air guard.
