Airplane lands on I96

A small aircraft apparently had mechanical difficulties and was forced to land on I-96 near Saginaw Highway (Lansing).

No injuries reported.

I have my private ticket and heard of pilots having to do this. All I have to say is what he did was amazing, the fact he was able to remain that calm and play with the fuel like that, amazing! It was good to see nobody was hurt.

was interesting to listen to on the MPSCS, had state troopers talking with Capital City Airport after the incident.
