I just started ready this thread, but I don't believe any cruse ships would be carrying Public Safety radios.

fire fighting and digital dont mix. Here in Indianapolis, IN., our system was set to switch over to digital last month- Motorola p25 UCON and it has been put on hold due to the FD's not being able to be understood while working fires in SCBA due to background noise. Sounds terrible. Big controversy here.

What you see in this website constitutes a big part of the stuff to listen to Public Safety-wise in the Fairbanks-North Star area. You might want to start a specific thread about your particular subject/questions and we can all contribute and discuss more there, among other stuff. I'd be more than willing to, since there's been a lot of changes lately and several other things I can quite "put my finger on".
