Is anyone in the Albany area familiar with these systems?

Albany Communications
License expired in 2021 and only subscribers were taxis.

Albany County Airport Authority LTR
LTR License expired 2012 - Current license is DMR but I don't see any record of use:

I never received any traffic on Albany Communications despite numerous attempts.

I last received Albany County Airport Authority LTR... probably late 2022, maybe early 2023. My reception was terrible, but I at least received something around that time (according to my fallible memory).

March 2023 was the last time I was in Albany, so I haven't tried to receive it since.

The Airport DMR license does include the analog LTR frequencies so I guess they continued LTR under the new license. So it may still be in operation if anyone in the area can verify it

I’m about 5 miles directly from the airport and can’t hear anything. Not familiar with LTR so don’t know how close you need to be. I can tell you though that I was riding the airport shuttle bus not too long ago and watched the driver talk on his radio (possibly on TGID 0-05-150, parking shuttles) every time he entered/exited a parking lot gate, which is very often so you should be able to hear something without monitoring for long. Let me know if I can do anything else to help you.

I see a very low antenna height so coverage may be on airport only. I am going to update the LTR listing with the current license and will give it a while to see if anyone can confirm it on-site.

I'll see if I can stop by the airport sometime and check it out. I'll keep you posted.

You need to be almost on the airport property to hear the LTR system well. It is still operating. The most active talkgroup is the parking shuttles. DMR at the airport is mainly gate operations (non-trunked). There are also DMR conventional channels in use by some airlines.

ARFF can operate on the LTR but is mainly on the Metro Cell of the county's P25 system.

So it looks like my update to the airport system is valid. I will deprecate the Albany Communications system unless there is evidence it is still operating.

Albany Communications / Goin Mobile / Crystal Clear Communications appears to be defunct.
I see the Goin Mobile and Crystal Clear licenses were transferred to Capital Digitronics and the former Goin Mobile licenses are now DMR so I think it is reasonable to assume Brunswick and Easton LTR are defunct. Are these frequencies now active with capital DMR?

Is the former Crystal Clear Rotterdam still active Hytera XPT?

Good questions. Those shuttle buses were on the old EDACS system forever! If you look in the db at the coverage for the airport system, it’s extremely small. Last time I listened to that one while I was right up there it was “sketchy!” I’ll listen around a bit.

I just edited the RRDB coverage to on airport only based on the reports and seeing the very low antenna height on the licenses. So Airport LTR system is still active but unlikely to be heard off site.

DIfferent shuttles. The airport's parking shuttles have always been on the LTR. Albany Park-N-Fly is on the CapDigi EDACS system.

yes they were sold off to capital digitronic and they now hold all the licensees for the sites however I'm not to sure about the operational status
