I've been out of the loop for a while. I recently retired and have time for some of my old hobbies. I've been looking at getting a new scanner. But a lot of what I like to listen to has been encrypted which is kind of a bummer. I still have an analog scanner that I use to monitor the air bands and amateur radio repeaters on occasion.
My question is this. What do you ABQ guys and gals like to listen too? Yes, I've looked at the Radio Reference database listings. But I guess I'm just not very excited with what's available. I'm looking for someone to "knock me off the fence" and spend some money on a new radio. Or not.
