Alinco DJ-X3 - Cable info?

Hi,

I just purchased an Alinco DJ-X3E. Seems like an interesting scanner with some unique capabilities.

Does anyone have information on the programming cable?

For example...is it a simple TTL interface? Would the Icom OPC-478 work??

The cloning software is free...
I think I'd rather make a cable than spend $40-$60 for one.

FYI all - I found out that it uses the SAME cable as Icom Scanners (IC-R2/R3 and the T90A). I think it's the OCP-478.

Anyway, my cable for the T90A works just fine.


Unblocked coverage (HF to 1200 MHz) and Inversion descrambling works really nice here in Iraq.
